In addition, this system allows the creation of conservatories and skylights with complex structures. It is also possible to install skylights that open manually or electrically.
PR 100 is a non-insulated roof system
PR 100 is a non-insulated aluminium roof system used as a terrace covering or a carport. PR 100 offers a range of rafters in different heights and widths so that high static requirements from snow load and weight can be implemented without using steel reinforcements.
Roof construction
The roof construction for the winter garden is a self-supporting structure, i.e. it is completely independent of the side filling elements, i.e. doors, windows, etc. We perform static calculations for each project, taking into account the snow and wind load zone for a given installation location.
Windows and doors
Equally important
At the roof structure is vertical glazing in the winter garden. The right combination of these elements guarantees perfect harmony creating the atmosphere in your winter garden.
Depending on the thermal insulation requirements and budget, windows and doors can be made in various systems. They can be not only functional but also very aesthetic. Depending on the needs, the following are used:
ā tilt and turn windows and tilt windows
ā tilt and turn doors, opening inwards, the so-called balcony
ā tilt and slide doors opening inwards
ā lift and slide doors
ā folding and sliding doors (folding), opening inwards or outwards

Glass
The basic glass used in the construction of our gardens is a 1-chamber glazing unit with a heat transfer coefficient of Ug = 1.0 with the following structure:

ā window glass – 24 mm package: 4/16 Argon / 4
For more demanding customers
We offer triple-glazed packages with the coefficient Ug = 0.6, 0.5, or even 0.4. As standard, all triple-glazed packages are made with a warm Chromatech Ultra F frame. Depending on the client’s needs, we also have a wide range of specialist panes, including:
ā safety glass (toughened, laminated)

Roller blinds, awnings and shutters
Roof awnings, roller shutters and external blinds
These are just a few of the many available accessories for your conservatory. If you care about efficient ventilation, and additional protection against sunlight, we will select the best solution for you. In its projects, our company uses proven and reliable systems of blinds and roller shutters of the leading German manufacturer WAREMA in Europe.
External blinds
They are perfect for this purpose as they capture 60-80% of solar radiation before reaching the glass. Thanks to this, the room is pleasantly cool. They also allow you to optimally control the brightness in the room.
Venetian blinds and roller shutters
These are mounted outside aluminium and glass structures: walls, windows, winter garden roofs, or terrace roofs. They are electrically controlled or using the so-called weather automatics – opened and closed with wind and sun sensors, rain, which, when noticing the too strong wind, will automatically roll the awning into an aluminium cassette for its safety, automatically open the blind in high sunlight, and close the roof window in case of rain.
The construction of the roller shutter
The roller shutter is varnished in the same colour (RAL palette) as the construction of the winter garden. When it comes to the sheathing, we have an extensive selection of patterns and colours.
Enjoy the sun all year round
Glazed areas of winter gardens
Glazed areas are designed to enjoy the sun’s rays. It is an investment for years to come, but it will reduce your home heating expenses. At night and on cloudy days, the door to the house remains closed, but when the orangery heats up in the sun, it is enough to open it for the heat to penetrate into adjacent rooms. The glass conservatory, in a way, plays the role of a heat accumulator. During hot days, their exposure to daylight may, however, reduce the comfort of use. Glass surfaces are easily overheated, which the users of an energy-saving home would like to avoid, and too high temperature and blinding sun can effectively take away the joy of a summer day. It is worth getting high-quality sunscreens to eliminate the adverse effects of excessive sun exposure. They will also be an excellent element of the arrangement while ensuring optimal temperature throughout the year.
Our company has an offer of unique covers
For roof and wall glazing, Warema is a reliable German manufacturer, includingexternal / internal awnings and external blinds that can be integrated with the available atmospheric sensor systems. It is worth thinking about sun visors at the stage of designing a winter garden and anticipating their possible installation in the future if we are not determined to use them at the beginning of the investment.

A winter garden is a unique place that can fulfil several roles. Winter terraces are not only an original idea to revive the architecture of a building. It is primarily where you can spend time, especially when the temperature in winter does not encourage outdoor walks. How to set up a winter garden? What should you remember?
How to set up a winter garden?
When deciding on a winter garden, it is worth knowing that there are two options for purchasing it. It is adding a special part to an existing building or erecting a free-standing facility (in this case, you can buy winter gardens, the structure of which is ready, only the interior requires special arrangement). Both solutions have their advantages and disadvantages.
However, it is worth remembering that it is much easier to maintain a constant temperature in the case of conservatories that are part of a building. This is very important because for plants to retain their charm and have perfect conditions for development, they must stay in an environment with an appropriate, constant temperature. It is also essential to use suitable sources of solar energy.
Both small and large conservatories are constructed primarily of steel, aluminum, wooden or PVC profiles. If it is to be solid and durable, metal and wooden elements will be the best. For glazing, the best option is to use real glass (not a solution for cheap conservatories) or polycarbonate. In the case of a roof, the best solution is insulated glass, which is a combination of glued and toughened glass.
In a well-arranged winter garden, you can spend a lot of time not only in winter, when the weather is not encouraging for walks, but also in early spring, when the weather can be really capricious.
How to keep your winter garden warm?
Only in a properly heated garden will plants have the right conditions for growth and development. When buying ready-made solutions, the manufacturer of conservatories is quite good at taking care of these issues. However, if we deal with the garden ourselves, it is worth remembering that maintaining the temperature in the facility is primarily influenced by its location. The best solution is when the winter terrace enclosure is located on the south side. In this case, the room catches more light and, at the same time, loses less heat. When growing exotic or cold-sensitive plants, consideration should be given to using an appropriate system that will maintain a constant temperature in the interior of the winter garden suitable for the plants. There are quite a few options for heating a conservatory, so finding the correct method should not cause too many difficulties.
In the case of conservatories that are part of a residential building, care should be taken to ensure that the room temperature never drops below 0 Ā° C.
Of course, winter gardens should not only be adequately heated. Equally important in this case is the use of ventilators and care for adequate ventilation.
